Brady Fortenberry

Lead Pastor

Brady is the Lead Pastor at Fellowship, a multi-generation church reaching the city of Rome and Floyd County. 

Born and raised in Oxford, Mississippi, Brady attended the University of Mississippi before moving to Dallas, Texas to begin ministry. He is married to Lacey, and they are proud parents of Emma Cate and James. 

Brady earned a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Brady became the lead pastor of Fellowship in May of 2020. 

Brandon snow

Minister of Worship

Brandon is a Rome native. He graduated with a Bachelor of Church Music degree from Shorter College in Rome in 1999, and went on to graduate with a Master of Arts in Church music from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002.

Brandon received Christ at age 6 while attending New Antioch Baptist Church.  He has served churches in North Carolina, Alabama and Georgia since 1995 and has been serving as Worship Pastor here at Fellowship Baptist Church since 2014. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 33:3, "Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy".

Sheri Cordle

financial administrator/Pastors assistant

Sheri joined the staff at Fellowship in January 2017.  She was born and raised in Missouri and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska.  She had 20+ years of management experience in the healthcare industry before leaving it in 2012.

At the church where she is a member, she teaches a children’s Sunday School class, works with the youth, and is a member of the choir.  She loves spending time with her family and making quilts.  Sheri and her husband, Kevin, live in Armuchee and have two daughters, a son-in-law and a grandson.

Brandy Ann Wacker


Brandy Ann joined the staff in February of 2020. She was born and raised here in Rome, Georgia and graduated from Armuchee High School. After high school, Brandy Ann went to Middle Georgia State University and played collegiate soccer. After her second season, she decided to transfer home to Georgia Highlands where she obtained her Associates in Business Administration and is working on her Bachelors in Criminal Justice.

During her free time, Brandy Ann loves spending time with her family, being outside, and playing sports with friends and her nephew.

Matt Nichols

interim Youth/college Minister

Matt is married to Rebekah Nichols and has two daughters, Micah and Lydia. Matt is a native of Rome, Georgia and a graduate of Coosa High School. Upon graduation from Coosa high, he graduated with his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Jacksonville State University and then earned his Master’s in Exercise Physiology from The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. 

Matt grew up going to Fellowship Baptist Church and has been an active member since he was saved in 1991. Since this time, Matt has been passionately involved in the children and youth programs as both a student and an adult and has had the opportunity to serve in various church leadership roles and positions. 

In 2011, he and Becka felt that God was calling them to serve in the youth department at Fellowship. They then began serving and leading youth and college bible studies and worship. Matt loves serving the Lord by setting up and facilitating youth, children, and family events for the community.


Debbie lynn

interim CHILDREN'S director

Debbie was born and raised in Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Christian Education from Randall College in Nashville, Tennessee. After her marriage to Rex, they moved to south Georgia and pastored for 8 years before moving to Rome.

Debbie then received her Masters in Education from Berry College and the taught in the classroom for 25 years before retiring. Debbie has ministered here at Fellowship for over 25 years.
