Jerusalem-Local Missions

Community Outreach Clothing Drive: We need your help! We are currently taking donations of gently used clothing for men, women, teenagers, and children. Please separate clothes by gender and size and drop off in the provided receptacles now through Sunday, December 10th. The clothing give-away will take place on Saturday, December 16th, from 10:00 a.m. until Noon for those of our community in need. Volunteers needed for the give-away. For more information, contact Kevin and April Drew. 

1 Mile Outreach: Monthly evangelism and visitation. You can participate! 

AWANA—Children’s Ministry: Weekly on Wednesdays during the school year—for children 3 years through 5th grade. See Paul or Stephanie Hart to help!

Operation Christmas Child: Thank you to all who participated this year! As a church, we contributed 259 shoe boxes to Operation Christmas Child!! This ministry is the annual shoe box gift drive for children all over the world. It runs late September through early November- For next year, you can participate and take the Pastor’s challenge of preparing one shoe box a month (12) from each family!!!

Adopt a School Ministries: Ongoing opportunity to minister in Jesus’ Name to children of at least two elementary schools. This includes Thanksgiving baskets, Christmas gifts, school supplies, and nutrition through Back Pack Buddies. We serve many children and families on a regular basis. We also have the opportunity to minister at some of the local high schools as well. You can help!!! See Phil or Peggy Chandler

Other Local ministries that Fellowship supports include the Floyd County Baptist Association and Food Pantry; Unity Christian School, The Crisis Pregnancy Center, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes—an evangelistic arm that reaches students for Jesus in approximately 18 different schools in our area.

International Mission Night: Join us on Sunday, November 19th to learn more about missions in Russia! The International Mission Night supper will take place at 5:00 p.m. (by reservation), and the study will begin at 6:00 p.m. To place a reservation for the meal or for more information regarding the study, please contact the church office at (706)234-9416.
